Stefanie De Bruyckere is a Master of Science in business administration (Major in Accountancy and Tax) at Ghent University and holds a teacher training degree. She lectures several courses at HOGENT, in the bachelors' program of business management. Stefanie obtained her PhD in business economics. Her research is devoted to the role of external accountants as service providers for SMEs.
